Introduction

I didn’t see this on my previous Hdtv, so I assume it’s only on the Lg. It’s annoying but fortunately it’s rare; I’ve only seen it about once a week. Sometimes it’s just a single commercial; but at other times it’s an whole program. When I want to see the program, I’ll zoom in to cut off the top edge. It seems Lg didn’t crop the top properly, or the video editors of some shows or commercials didn’t do unblemished cropping, and the Plasma isn’t forgiving. Whether way, it shouldn’t be there.

The startup is a limited odd. After you click the remote to turn the power on, you hear a quick click, but then there’s a delay of about six seconds before you see anything on the screen. There’s also a delay when you try to turn it off; the screen goes blank quickly, but the click comes about ten seconds later.
